In most multi-branch operations the table system runs on the company's own server; installation and updates need outside support. The real reason is a fear of downtime: if the connection drops, the till must keep working.
For cafés the equation is different. Tabs are simple, table service is limited and payment is online anyway. That's where we're starting Cloud POS: no install, no licence, all branches in one panel.
Because tabs and wallet payments share a system, you won't be reconciling two separate reports at closing.
Outage tolerance is central to the design. In a café flow payment already runs online; for tabs and tables we're building toward a setup that keeps working even if the connection drops.
